On October 11, 2024, Queen Mary of Denmark proved once again why she is a style icon during her visit to Holstebro, in celebration of the city’s 750th anniversary.
Despite the rain that accompanied the event, her autumnal look did not go unnoticed, combining as always, elegance with functionality.
Together with her husband, King Frederik X of Denmark, Mary walked the streets of Holstebro, interacting with citizens and participating in the unveiling of the sound piece “Bridges in Time”, a piece that celebrates the history of the city.
Queen Mary’s Autumn Style in Holstebro
The queen opted for an orange coat by Max Mara, a wise choice to counteract the gray weather of the day.
A classically cut piece with a belt that accentuated her figure, the coat not only protected her from the cold, but radiated energy with that vibrant color. It was impossible not to notice her, as the orange hue stood out amidst the gray clouds.
Under the coat, Mary wore a wine-toned floral dress from Saloni, a delicate piece in tune with fall trends.
The floral print gave it a feminine and elegant touch, and the burgundy suede boots by Aquazzura were the perfect complement to the outfit, harmonizing the autumn color palette.
To add a chic touch to her look, the queen wore a sequined headband in wine tones by Jane Taylor London, which perfectly matched the dress and gave it a modern feel.
The purple suede Boss clutch bag provided the ideal balance between elegance and originality, while the minimalist Sophie Bille Brahe earrings added a subtle touch of sophistication.
