After a first day in Paris full of sophistication and premieres, Queen Mary of Denmark opted for a more sober turn on her second day of official visit to France.

This April 1, she turned to her closet and recovered an outfit that did not go unnoticed in the past: an elegant gray-green suit by Australian firm Scanlan Theodore.

Her agenda for the day began with a visit to the legendary Manufacture des Gobelins tapestry factory, a workshop founded in 1601 and renowned for its production of world-renowned textiles.

Later, accompanied by King Frederick, First Lady Brigitte Macron and President Emmanuel Macron, she participated in the opening of the Franco-Danish economic forum, a key event to strengthen trade ties between the two nations.

One of the most special moments of the day was experienced at the École Maternelle Dussoubs, where Mary and Brigitte Macron learned first-hand about the implementation of the Bullying-Free program, an initiative of the Mary Foundation.

The visit allowed an exchange of experiences between Denmark and France on bullying prevention, reinforcing the Queen’s commitment to this cause.

Mary’s style on her second day in France

For this second day Mary wore a two-piece, composed of a structured blazer with shoulder pads and wide-cut pants, which had already been part of her wardrobe on four other occasions.

This time, however, she decided to give it a new look by combining it with a powder pink turtleneck blouse, a choice that added a romantic touch to her image.

As a complement, she carried a Max Mara Whitney handbag in the same tone and sophisticated Gianvito Rossi animal print pumps.

One of the most significant details of her look was the butterfly brooch that adorned her jacket.

This accessory represents the symbol of the Mary Foundation, an organization that promotes initiatives in favor of inclusion and the fight against bullying.

Later in the evening, the King and Queen of Denmark hosted an evening at Le Grand Hôtel, a historic luxury palace from the late 19th century, located in the center of Paris.

The event was attended by a total of 350 guests, including members of the delegation and important personalities from both countries, but with the absence of the Macrons, who were replaced by the French Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot.

For the evening, Frederik X’s wife chose a black midi shirt dress by Taller Marmo made of semi-transparent chiffon with embroidered floral details on the skirt.
