Copenhagen is a city full of impressive landmarks, but few stand out as much as the iconic Black Diamond, a building of modern architecture that houses the National Library of Denmark.
At this iconic landmark, Queen Mary of Denmark made an appearance to preside over the EliteForsk 2025 Awards, a recognition that celebrates the talents of young researchers with international projection.
After her recent return from Australia, the wife of King Frederick X has resumed her official schedule, participating in a variety of events, from meetings at the Queen Mary Center to a religious service commemorating the invasion of Ukraine.
Queen Mary’s style at the EliteForsk Awards 2025
Known for her ability to reuse pieces from her closet masterfully, Queen Mary opted for an outfit she has worn in the past, once again demonstrating her commitment to sustainable fashion.
Her look was composed of a burgundy-toned midi skirt by Alexander McQueen, made in crepe, with a high waist and an elegant asymmetrical hem.
She debuted this skirt in 2018, at that time combining it with a navy blue blouse, but this time she decided to give it a more vibrant twist by choosing a pink blouse from the British firm The Fold.
The garment, crafted in silk, stood out for its raised shawl collar, hidden buttons and a flared sleeves.
To complete her look, the queen opted for burgundy suede boots by Aquazzura. With a ten-centimeter stiletto heel and a slim silhouette, these boots added a touch of sophistication to her ensemble.
In addition, Mary complemented her outfit with earrings from Dulong jewelry, crafted in yellow gold and rose quartz, which added a subtle sparkle to the look.
