During her recent visit to Brazil, Queen Mary of Denmark has made it clear that her style remains impeccable, even in the midst of an agenda full of diplomatic engagements.
On her trip, aimed at strengthening cooperation on issues such as sustainability and biodiversity, Mary kicked off her three-day tour in Manaus with a vibrant, detail-filled ensemble.
Queen Mary’s Style in Manaus
At her first event on the evening of October 2, the queen was received at the iconic Teatro Amazonas by Governor Wilson Lima. There, she attended a cultural presentation celebrating the rich Amazonian heritage.
For the occasion, Mary opted for a green midi-length skirt with an ethnic print in white and gold, paired with a redcurrant-colored top by Danish designer Jasper Hovring.
This top, with puffed sleeves and a crossover neckline, added a touch of sophistication and modernity to the outfit.
The accessories were equally eye-catching. Mary completed her look with a yellow Prada clutch, embellished and crafted in satin, and gold sandals by Aquazzura.
Interestingly, these shoes were named Josephine, in honor of her youngest daughter. To add a special touch, Mary chose Portuguese earrings known as “Rainha,” a nod to the historical connection between Brazil and Portugal.
Prior to this elegant appearance, the queen had spent the morning touring the Amazon by boat.
Dressed much more casually, Mary opted for a green Columbia shirt, Deerhunter cargo pants and comfortable sneakers, reflecting her hands-on approach to exploring the region’s environmental challenges.
