Danish royalty shone at the latest edition of the Crown Prince Couple Awards, a special event for King Mary and Queen Frederick, as this year marked their 20th anniversary.
On this occasion, the gala was also the scene of a relevant announcement: from now on, the awards will bear the name The King and Queen’s Awards, a significant change that reflects the evolution of these awards since their creation, a few months after the royal marriage.

Mary and Frederick’s arrival at the Vega Theater in Copenhagen did not go unnoticed, as they both showed a modern and elegant style that captured all eyes.
Tie-less and wearing a navy blue suit with a white shirt, Federico showed a relaxed look, while Mary surprised with a classic tuxedo by Max Mara that exuded sophistication.
The pants, with a slit at the ankles, exposed Manolo Blahnik shoes in a vibrant shade of yellow.
To this ensemble she added a Prada clutch with satin and beaded detailing that perfectly complemented her bold and colorful style.
Mary’s look also included a touch of sparkle with a stunning yellow emerald-cut gemstone ring surrounded by diamonds.
Her loose hair further enhanced the modern aesthetic of her outfit, lending a sophisticated air that delighted attendees.
Throughout the ceremony, Mary and Frederick maintained a close presence, sitting at separate tables to converse more intimately with guests, demonstrating their connection with the Danish public.
Mary’s attendance at the awards also marks the couple’s first official event following the Queen’s return from Australia, where she shared a special few days with her daughter Josephine.
Since then, Mary’s schedule has been packed with engagements, including the traditional Hubertus Hunt day at Eremitage Castle and the Children’s Aid Award ceremony, held on the same day as the awards in Vega.
