The state visit of the King and Queen of Denmark to Finland came to an end with a special event that reaffirmed the ties between the two nations.
After a few days full of activities, which included a whirlwind trip to Lapland, a gala dinner where Queen Mary surprised with a historic tiara, and several official meetings, the royal couple closed their agenda with an elegant reception at the emblematic Finlandia Hall in Helsinki.
Queen Mary in an all-white suit
For the occasion, Queen Mary opted for an impeccable style with a subtle tribute to Finnish fashion.
Mary wore a white suit by Andiata, consisting of a loose-fitting blazer with a crossover design and fine handcrafted stitching on the collar, combined with matching high-waist pants.
The choice of ensemble demonstrated her support for the host country’s textile industry.
Accessories played a key role in her styling. The Queen of Denmark opted for golden earrings, designed to be worn with the curve pointing outwards.
She also complemented her outfit with a ring she has worn on previous occasions: a jewel with an amber stone set with white diamonds.
