Queen Mathilde has once again demonstrated her innate elegance when she received the President of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, and his wife, Jane Yumiko Ittogi, at an official ceremony at the Royal Palace in Brussels.
For the occasion, the monarch opted for a sophisticated Dior ensemble, reaffirming her preference for the French house for high-profile events.
Queen Mathilde in a fuchsia outfit by Dior
Mathilde, who usually opts for Natan designs for her daily engagements, often chooses Dior creations when the occasion calls for it.
On this occasion, she wore an elegant two-piece in fuchsia, consisting of a French-sleeved dress with a bow at the neck and a belt that highlighted her figure.
To complete the look, she wore a long-sleeved jacket with double-breasted buttons and flap pockets, also from the French maison.
It is not the first time that the queen wears this design. In December last year, she debuted the dress at a reception in honor of the country’s main authorities, where its vibrant color and impeccable cut caught all eyes.
On this occasion, she decided to combine it with a matching blazer, bringing a renewed air to her styling.
For accessories, Mathilde opted for a pillbox headdress made with the same fabric as the outfit, an envelope clutch in nude and ten-centimeter heels in the same color.
The leather gloves, also in a neutral tone, added a refined touch.
One of the most special details of her outfit were the earrings she chose for the occasion.
They are a diamond and pearl design with great sentimental value, as she wore them on her wedding day with King Felipe, on December 4, 1999.
