During the official visit of Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie to Belgium, all eyes were naturally drawn to the elegant encounter between two women who consistently balance diplomacy with style: Queen Mathilde and Grand Duchess Stéphanie.

It was the Luxembourg couple’s first official trip abroad since their accession to the throne, and their reception in Brussels by King Philippe and Queen Mathilde was both warm and impeccably coordinated.

Mathilde once again demonstrated why she is one of Europe’s most instinctive queens when it comes to haute couture. She chose a Christian Dior Couture ensemble in deep red, featuring a puff-sleeve jacket and matching accessories: a burgundy Lady Dior bag and elegant Dior D-Moi pumps.

A choice that perfectly balances sophistication with the institutional nature of the event.
Grand Duchess Stéphanie, on the other hand, opted for a more serene look. She wore a light blue dress—apparently by Safiyaa—paired with a Sylvia Martinez hat, a Natan bag and shoes, and discreet jewelry: her Chaumet Jeux de Liens ring and a Cartier Tank Louis watch in yellow gold.

The entire ensemble conveyed a sense of sobriety and elegance, true to the classic style that defines Stéphanie.
