While many royals have adopted the midi length as their favorite choice, Queen Mathilde of Belgium has decided to make a difference with a style that exposes her knees.

Mathilde highlighted her commitment to the fight against bullying during her recent visit to the Tangram School in the city of Vilvoorde, but she also attracted attention for her risky choice of wardrobe.

For some years now, longer skirts and dresses have dominated royal fashion, opting for designs that completely cover the knees.

However, Mathilde seems to be going in another direction, opting for a short skirt that breaks with this stylistic pattern.

For the occasion, the queen of the Belgians chose an outfit signed by the fashion house Natan.

The centerpiece of her outfit was a vegan leather skirt with a distinctive ruffled effect, whose shorter length contrasted with the prevailing midi trend.

On top, she wore an oversized green top with Japanese sleeves and a high neck, a comfortable garment with a modern and relaxed feel.

The outfit was completed with elegant green pumps that visually lengthened her legs, a gray handbag and earrings from the French brand Sézane.
