King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium celebrated the arrival of 2025 by hosting a prestigious New Year’s reception on January 14 at the Château of Laeken.
This annual event brought together distinguished guests, including NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, permanent representatives, international staff, and senior military leaders from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization and SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe).
Queen Mathilde’s Style at NATO Reception 2025
Queen Mathilde once again showcased her sophisticated style by wearing an elegant dress from the Belgian fashion house Natan, a choice that subtly celebrated local talent.
This isn’t the first time she’s worn the timeless piece, as it also graced the 2020 New Year’s reception. Her outfit, however, received fresh updates with carefully selected accessories that elevated the overall look.
For footwear, the Queen opted for Christian Dior’s D-Moi pumps in a rich Bordeaux leather, adding a polished touch to her ensemble.
She carried a playful Diane von Furstenberg clutch, the Flirty Lip Minaudiere Snake design, which added a hint of modern flair.
Complementing these details, Mathilde wore dazzling Giorgio Armani clip earrings adorned with Swarovski crystals, a Rolex Datejust watch in silver and gold with a diamond-studded dial.
