The Elysée Palace in Paris was the setting for an elegant banquet in honor of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, as part of their state visit to France.

This event, which took place on the first day of their stay, was hosted by President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte. With an atmosphere full of cordiality, the dinner promised to be a memorable evening.

Queen Mathilde dazzled the attendees in a beautiful navy blue velvet gown, adorned with delicate lace details on top.

Just like other occasions where queens like Letizia or Maxima chose not to wear tiaras, Mathilde did not wear one either. Theo, she did show up with new earrings that perfectly complemented her navy blue velvet dress with lace on top.

In addition, her handbag, made in the same fabric and tone as her dress, added a touch of elegance to her ensemble.

For her part, the French first lady, Brigitte Macron, opted for a bolder design. Her midi dress in a dark shade featured a sheer fabric top and was embellished with beaded embroidery that ended in long sleeves.

To complete her look, Brigitte chose a silver clutch bag and long earrings that highlighted her personal style.

During the dinner, both leaders, Macron and Philippe, shared speeches in which they expressed their appreciation for each other. With a touch of humor, King Philippe made reference to the upcoming soccer match between their national teams, joking about his wish for the spirit of friendship and fair play to prevail.

Undoubtedly, the banquet at the Elysée Palace became a tribute to the Belgian monarchy and a symbol of friendship and collaboration between nations.
