On Sunday, January 11th, Queen Mathilde of Belgium attended the Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint Gudula, dressed elegantly and appropriately for the occasion.
She was present alongside King Philippe for the pontifical mass that inaugurated the cathedral’s 800th-anniversary celebrations.

Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State and papal legate, presided over the ceremony.
For the occasion, Mathilde chose a Meer Couture coat over a Natan dress, her classic combination that never fails.
The outfit’s details were well thought out. She wore her Jimmy Choo Romy 85 in navy blue suede, a Christian Dior bag, and a Fabienne Delvigne Chambella headband, which added a touch of sophistication without being overdone.

To complete the ensemble, she wore her Rolex Datejust in silver and gold, featuring a diamond dial. Everything was very coordinated, very Mathilde.
Following the mass, the royals met with Cardinal Parolin. The event marks the beginning of Gudula26, a series of activities celebrating the 800th anniversary of the cathedral’s foundation.
