Queen Mathilde dazzled with her elegance at the closing ceremony of the Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition 2025, held on June 11 at the Palace of Fine Arts in Brussels.
Accompanied by King Philippe, the monarch attended the presentation of this year’s three prize-winning pianists: Nikola Meeuwsen, Wataru Hisasue, and Valère Burnon. The finalists gave a concert alongside the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Marc Albrecht.
Since 2014, Queen Mathilde has been the patron of the competition, considered one of the most prestigious in the world in its category.

For the occasion, Mathilde chose a white ensemble consisting of a jumpsuit with a cape by Natan Couture, one of her favorite brands.
For accessories, she opted for pieces by Christian Dior. Among them were D-Moi high heels and a clutch bag, both in white, which harmonized with the design of the ensemble.
As a finishing touch, she wore her Rolex Datejust watch in silver and gold with a diamond dial.
