Queen Mathilde opened the doors of the Royal Castle of Laeken to welcome 140 neighbors to a special reception on Neighbors’ Day.
The event took place on Friday, June 6, in the castle’s greenhouse, where she and King Philippe shared a relaxed afternoon with people who live or work in the vicinity of the royal estate.
The celebration served as a direct meeting place between the monarchs and their closest community.
Queen Mathilde’s style at the Neighbors’ Day reception
For the occasion, Mathilde opted for a fresh and sophisticated look. She wore a printed dress by Belgian designer Natan, accompanied by deep green accessories that complemented the outfit.
These included a dark suede clutch, also by Natan, and green satin shoes with a PVC D’Orsay finish.
Without a doubt, it was the perfect outfit for the occasion: casual yet with an institutional presence.
The queen completed her outfit with personal touches that reinforced her style. She opted for delicate Sézane earrings, a two-tone Rolex watch with a diamond dial, and an updo that showed off each accessory. Her fashion choices not only reflected her refined taste but also her intention to appear approachable in an informal and familiar setting.
