Queen Mathilde made a refined appearance at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, where she visited the exhibition Nachtreis (Night Journey) by Belgian artist Hans Op de Beeck.
Known for his immersive and multidisciplinary work, Op de Beeck presents 39 life-size sculptures accompanied by an evocative soundscape.
His creative reach also extends to royal portraiture; he was the artist responsible for the busts of the King and Queen of Belgium that were unveiled in 2023 to commemorate a decade of monarchy.
Queen Mathilde’s style at the museum
For the cultural outing on July 15, the queen opted for an elegant and minimalist aesthetic. She chose a white Coraly dress by Natan, which she paired with beige suede Dior heels, a classic choice that reaffirms her affinity for Belgian and French design.
Her look was completed with an oyster-colored Emmanuelle bag by Voort Studio, a modern accessory that adds a touch of contemporary local design.
The details of her outfit included enamel earrings by Muchinskiy Jewelry, a lesser-known brand but one brimming with personality, and her Rolex Datejust watch, a piece that combines simplicity and luxury with its silver and gold diamond dial.
