What Did Queen Mathilde Bring With Her on Her Visit to The Sexual Violence Center?

Queen Mathilde recently visited the Center for Victims of Sexual Violence in Lodelinsart. It wasn’t a mere formal visit. She met with psychologists, nurses, social workers, doctors, and specialized police inspectors.

Mathilde listened to testimonies, learned about the center’s approach, and became interested in how they work with victims. She had previously addressed this issue during visits to domestic violence initiatives in Belgium, but this time the focus was specifically on sexual violence.

For the occasion, she chose a simple look with a strategic touch of color. She wore a red top by Natan, the Belgian designer she almost always wears, paired with black pants.

Nothing extravagant. The idea was to be present without detracting from the message. The red of Natan’s Valgo top added warmth without feeling overly festive, a quality Mathilde skillfully manages when attending sensitive events.

She wore her usual accessories. Carolina Herrera Jasmine Biznaga earrings with enamel, and a two-tone Rolex Datejust with diamonds on the dial. It’s a watch she wears frequently, and it’s practically her signature piece. She didn’t change her jewelry or add unnecessary layers. Everything was quite restrained.
