King’s Day in the Netherlands is one of those celebrations in which the whole country turns orange to honor the royal family.
At the 2025 edition, held in Doetinchem, Queen Máxima and her daughters, Princess Amalia and Princess Alexia, stood out for their carefully chosen outfits.
With one eye on fashion and the other on symbolism, the three royal women offered a true lesson in style.
Queen Maxima’s style on King’s Day 2025
Queen Máxima, with her characteristic elegance, chose a Natan Couture ensemble that perfectly reflected her sophistication.
The navy blue hue of her skirt and top was complemented by matching Gianvito Rossi heels and a Kayu clutch.
Not surprisingly, Maxima added the finishing touch with a Philip Treacy hat, a piece that is already her personal signature at high-protocol events.
Princess Amalia’s style on King’s Day 2025
Princess Amalia, on the other hand, opted for a more daring style. The heir to the throne wore a short Ralph Lauren dress in a soft blue tone, perfect for a spring day.
The outfit was complemented with gold Stuart Weitzman sandals and a Mango bag that added a touch of freshness.
Princess Alexia’s style on King’s Day 2025
Princess Alexia, with her relaxed but equally groomed style, opted for a combination of pieces from various brands.
Her Massimo Dutti leather jacket and Maje skirt set the tone for a more casual yet chic look.
With Sézane shoes and a Delvaux bag (a piece much loved by her mother, the queen).
The finishing touch was provided by her Roberto Coin jewelry and Rosa de la Cruz necklace, which added the necessary sparkle without stealing the spotlight from the sobriety of the ensemble.
