During the gala dinner held at Huis ten Bosch Palace on the occasion of the NATO summit, Queen Maxima and Princess Amalia of the Netherlands set the tone.
The evening, presided over by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, brought together 66 guests in the palace’s Orange Room.

Instead of wearing traditional long gala dresses, Maxima opted for a lime green silk jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and batwing sleeves from the spring/summer collection by Natan.
The elegant and modern garment complied with the “tenue de ville” dress code required for the evening.
As for jewelry, the queen decided not to wear tiaras and instead chose to complement her look with pieces she had worn before, her diamond bracelet known as “indias” and a garceta on her left shoulder.
The surprise of the evening was the presence of Princess Amalia, who was not on the official agenda for the event.
The heiress reappeared without the cast she had worn after falling from a horse.
Avoiding the more formal choices that usually accompany this type of diplomatic gathering, Amalia opted for a dark blue suit with short sleeves decorated with bows, a sober look.
