Queen Maxima of the Netherlands has once again demonstrated her mastery when it comes to choosing meaningful outfits.
During her first event within her state visit to Kenya, the monarch has surprised by wearing a dress by Belgian firm Natan, a piece that had been in her dressing room for two years without seeing the light.
This design, which was originally intended for the King’s Day celebrations in 2023, has finally found its moment in the official trip to Nairobi.
Queen Maxima Debuts a Cape Dress by Natan
The dress, with a straight cut and a flowing cape that falls from the shoulders, is distinguished by a detail that adds movement: a feather embellishment sewn on the upper torso.
To complete her styling, Maxima opted for a monochrome ensemble in which every accessory was carefully selected.
From elegant suede and transparent vinyl stilettos to a clutch bag, gloves and her signature wide-brimmed pamela headdress, the queen made it clear that every element of her look was thought out in detail.
Beyond the dress, there was another accessory that did not go unnoticed: the earrings. Maxima opted for jewelry designed by the Spanish Luz Camino, poppies decorated with rhinestones in red and green tones.
