On January 15, 2025, Queen Máxima paid an insightful visit to Royal Cosun in Dinteloord, celebrating the cooperative’s achievement of winning the King Willem I Prize in the Large Business Category.
Founded in 1899, Royal Cosun operates internationally and is an agricultural cooperative with 8,100 growers and 4,600 employees.
During her visit, Queen Máxima toured the innovation center and the sugar beet storage facility.
She took the opportunity to meet with growers, employees, and others involved in the cooperative, learning more about their efforts to ensure a sustainable and future-proof revenue model.
