Queen Maxima of the Netherlands seems to have found her ideal color in sky blue.
This Monday, on her first official engagement of the week, the monarch dazzled in a Max Mara suit in that shade that enhanced her natural style.
Accompanied by Salvatore Ferragamo heels and striking earrings, the outfit stood out for its elegance and sophistication.
After a long vacation in Greece with King Willem-Alexander, the Queen returned to work with renewed energy, wearing a style that, once again, has caught all eyes.
This time, her agenda took her to the city of Leiden, where she visited the ‘Door het Geluid’ Foundation, an organization that seeks social change so that mental health is discussed openly and students find ways to deal with challenges.
This initiative goes hand in hand with the ‘Mind Us’ project, led by Maxima herself, who has become a leading advocate for mental health, a cause she is deeply passionate about.
Queen Maxima’s style in Leiden
Taking advantage of the warm weather still enjoyed in the Netherlands, the Queen opted for a cheerful color like sky blue, ideal for this time of year.
The Max Mara suit, made in silk satin, includes a blazer with peak lapels, a masculine style pocket on the chest and horizontal welt pockets.
The ensemble is completed with straight pants that end in a slight flare at the hem, providing a sleek, modern silhouette.
This is not the suit’s debut in Maxima’s closet; she already debuted it in April during a meeting with the president of Nigeria and has since worn it on three other occasions.
It’s certainly one of her favorite pieces, and she’s not the only royal to appreciate it.
To complete her look, Maxima opted for nude patent leather shoes with a bow on the toe, signed by Salvatore Ferragamo.
These shoes have become a basic for her when she is looking for comfort, unlike the high Gianvito Rossi thin heels she usually wears in her more formal appearances.
A beige braided bag by Marina Raphael added an extra touch of sophistication to her styling.
As for jewelry, the Queen wore large fan-shaped earrings, crafted in white and yellow gold by Jar Fan, which perfectly matched her signature style.
Not missing her black strap watch and bracelets that always accompany her, completing a look that reflects her love for details and effortless elegance.
