Queen Maxima of the Netherlands once again stole all eyes during the celebration of Prinsjesdag, also known as Prince’s Day, one of the most important dates in the calendar of the Dutch royal family.
This special occasion, which takes place in the streets of The Hague, is a display of elegance and tradition, with the royals bringing out their gala costumes and their iconic gold floats.
Queen Maxima in Claes Iversen Dress at Prinsjesdag
As usual, Maxima dazzled with her choice of wardrobe. This time, she opted for a sophisticated gown by designer Claes Iversen, a name that has gained popularity in the European royal circle.
The design featured a French sleeve, round neckline and an A-line silhouette, offering a perfect combination of elegance and simplicity.
However, what really captured everyone’s attention was the eye-catching bow that adorned her right shoulder, a style signature that has become characteristic of the queen’s attire.
Without a doubt, the Dutch queen loves to play with big, eye-catching details, and this bow was definitely the signature touch of her look.
The details of her look didn’t stop at the dress. Maxima complemented her outfit with an elegant turban-like headdress, made of the same fabric as her dress, which perfectly framed her face.
In her hands she carried a small Dior handbag adorned with sequins, accompanied by leather gloves that added a refined touch.
She completed her look with metallic peep-toes by Sergio Rossi, with a heel of more than ten centimeters and a platform that gave her stability.
In addition to her wardrobe, Maxima’s jewelry was also noteworthy. For the occasion, the queen chose several aquamarine pieces, which perfectly matched the tone of her dress.
Among them, she wore diamond and aquamarine earrings that have been part of her collection for years. As a golden brooch, she wore an Art Deco brooch that belonged to Queen Juliana, a family legacy full of history and meaning.
Princesses Amalia and Alexia’s style
Her daughters, Princess Amalia and Princess Alexia, did not go unnoticed either. Amalia, the heir to the throne, chose an elegant green dress by Safiyaa.
Unlike her mother, Amalia opted for a pearl tiara instead of a headpiece.
On the other hand, young Alexia surprised by wearing a red ball gown by Natan, which her mother had debuted in 2003 and had not worn since, giving her a fresh and youthful air.
With this display of elegance, the Dutch royal family made it clear once again that the Prinsjesdag is not only an important political event, but also an opportunity to show the world their impeccable fashion sense.
