Queen Maxima of the Netherlands made an impactful appearance at the launch of MIND Us’ new online tool, De Checkers, aimed at supporting the mental well-being of young people.
The event, held on March 26 at a skatepark in The Hague, highlighted the importance of equipping adults with the knowledge to help young people overcome mental health problems, simply by listening to them and asking the right questions.
As honorary president of the MIND Us Foundation, Queen Maxima’s presence underscored her continued commitment to mental health awareness.
The De Checkers tool is designed to provide adults with guidance on how to effectively support young people who might be experiencing mental health struggles.
This innovative resource teaches users to ask thoughtful questions and provide the empathetic, supportive listening that is crucial for young people grappling with emerging mental health issues.
Queen Maxima highlighted the significance of fostering open dialogue, particularly during such formative years when many young people may hesitate to express their feelings.
Queen Maxima in a Natan ensemble
At the event, Queen Maxima’s attire also caught attention. She wore a chic ensemble, including her black wool Natan Farce cape and matching Natan Couture cotton jacket, both featuring pointed shoulders that added a sharp, tailored look to her outfit.
Paired with her classic Gianvito Rossi black leather pumps, the queen’s style exuded elegance and sophistication.
Her accessories were equally striking. Queen Maxima completed her look with LOTT.gioielli Glassberry Creole earrings in a subtle grey tone, Dinh Van’s Le Cube Diamant small bracelet in yellow gold, and a Celedonio spider brooch that added a unique touch of personality to her outfit.
These pieces complemented the overall sleek and modern aesthetic of her look.
