Queen Maxima of the Netherlands once again demonstrated her impeccable sense of style during the welcome to the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, during his official visit to the Netherlands.

At a ceremony held in Amsterdam’s iconic Dam Square, Maxima dazzled in a monochromatic ensemble in camel tones, perfect for the city’s low temperatures.

The protagonist of the queen’s outfit was a wool coat by Max Mara, a piece that has been an essential part of her winter closet since 2022.

This timeless design stands out for its double-breasted collar, a bow belt that defines the waist, notch lapels and a midi length that gives it a sophisticated silhouette.

Maxima has worn it on other occasions, reaffirming her ability to reuse garments with style.

    Accessories in perfect harmony

In her bid for monochrome, Máxima complemented her coat with matching accessories:

    • Fur gloves in camel that added a classic touch.
    • A scarf knotted around her neck, ideal for protection from the cold.
    • Gianvito Rossi pumps with a pointed toe finish.
    • A Bottega Veneta clutch bag with an elegant braided design completed the color harmony.
    • A felt hat with wide brim and decorative ribbon, which added a majestic and personal air to the look.

Under her coat, the queen wore a satin green dress that alluded to the Portuguese flag, whose predominant colors are green and red.

According to some videos shared by the royal family on social media, the dress could be an Oscar de la Renta design, with features such as an open neckline, sleeves with slits, a slightly flared skirt and midi length.

To complete her outfit, the queen chose long diamond earrings from the royal jewelry box. These floral-designed pieces included a larger central diamond that dangled, providing a discreet but captivating sparkle.
