Queen Maxima of the Netherlands demonstrated her commitment to early childhood development with her visit to Kansrijke Start Zeist on January 22.
This local initiative is part of the national Kansrijke Start (Solid Start) action program, which is dedicated to ensuring children have the best possible foundation in life.
The program emphasizes the critical importance of the first 1,000 days of a child’s life, starting from ten months before birth through to the age of two.
During her visit, Queen Maxima engaged with participants of the ‘Centering Pregnancy’ program, a group designed to offer support and guidance to expectant mothers.

In addition to highlighting the work of Kansrijke Start, Queen Maxima also caught the attention of onlookers with her striking outfit.
Maxima opted for a vibrant ensemble featuring a Claes Iversen wool blazer and trousers in a bold orange shade, both from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection.
To balance the look, she paired the suit with a soft grey jumper, coordinating Gianvito Rossi pumps in Fumo grey suede, and a Valentino Rockstud flap wristlet clutch in grey.
Adding a touch of elegance, she accessorized with Begum Khan’s Singapore Orchids earrings in mandarin gold-plated finish.
