Queen Maxima of the Netherlands continues her state visit to Cyprus.

This March 5, the monarch surprised again with a choice that, although new, was very similar to a look she had worn just a day before.

With a deep red design, Maxima reaffirmed her preference for sophisticated cuts and details that stylize the figure.

The outfit, midi-length and with an elegant side draping that descended from the waist, was very reminiscent of the blue velvet dress she had worn on Tuesday.

On that occasion, the queen opted for a design with the same structure: draped shoulder and a cascade of fabric that provided fluidity and movement.

The similarity between the two pieces did not go unnoticed and made evident her clear predilection for this type of silhouette.

To complement the look, Maxima opted for accessories in dark tones. She wore Gianvito Rossi stilettos, matching gloves and one of her iconic pamelas, an accessory that has already become part of her personal stamp.

To this she added a handbag in the same chromatic range and flower-shaped earrings with rhinestones and a central ruby, which added a touch of sophistication without being as flashy as the oversized pieces she usually chooses.

However, what attracted the most attention was the brooch she wore on her chest.

It is a special piece of jewelry, with a design that combines a tulip, characteristic symbol of Holland, and an olive branch, representative of Greece.

This piece, which the monarch debuted during a visit to the Hellenic country, could have been a gift from the Greek authorities, according to speculation.

The design chosen this Wednesday belongs to the firm Natan, one of the most recurrent fashion houses in the Queen’s closet.

Its simple and refined structure allowed the brooch, adorned with colored rhinestones, to steal the show. In addition, the choice of monochromatic accessories helped to highlight this detail even more.
