Queen Maxima of the Netherlands once again stood out at one of the most important diplomatic events of the year, as she and King Willem-Alexander welcomed international representatives to the traditional gala dinner of the Diplomatic Corps.
The event, held at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam, brought together key figures from the diplomatic and cultural worlds under a theme that this year revolved around art and culture.

For this evening, the Queen opted for a well-known and symbolic design: an embroidered dress by designer Jan Taminiau that she had previously worn.
She complemented the outfit with platform Schutz sandals and a Lady Dior Croisière clutch with a silver-tone openwork finish, a choice that combined classic elegance with modern details.
The real star of her look was Queen Wilhelmina’s antique pearl tiara, a jewel that holds more than a century of history.
Inspired by a design by Queen Anna Pavlovna, this piece has been worn by members of the royal family such as Princess Beatrix, and in recent years, Maxima has often worn it at high-profile events, including state visits and official banquets.
