Last Friday, April 4, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended the INSEAD Alumni Forum Europe 2025, held at the Passenger Terminal in Amsterdam. Under the theme “Lead with Integrity, Shape the Future Now!”, the event brought together leaders, academics and entrepreneurs committed to building a more just, sustainable and equitable future.
During the day, the Queen participated in a fireside chat with Professor Mark Stabile, Dean of INSEAD’s European campus.
The conversation revolved around a topic that Maxima is a strong advocate in the international arena: financial health.
As the UN Secretary General’s Special Envoy on this issue, the Queen explained how financial products can be designed to improve the well-being of households, highlighting the essential role that the private sector plays in that process.
At this event, the Queen stole the show in a sober but striking outfit.
Queen Maxima’s style at INSEAD Alumni Forum
Maxima wore a moss green ensemble by the Belgian firm Natan, consisting of a blouse with subtle pleats at the neckline and wide-legged pants, which provided movement.
But it was the details that elevated the outfit. On her feet, she wore sophisticated Gianvito 105 shoes in lime green suede by Gianvito Rossi, which added a vibrant contrast to the rest of the look.
As a finishing touch, the queen chose Ole Lynggaard’s Gypsy earrings, crafted in gold with stones of varying shades, which provided a delicate handcrafted nod.
