Queen Maxima recently visited BDR Thermea and its subsidiary Remeha’s factory in Apeldoorn. It wasn’t a formal visit, the kind that ends with handshakes and photos. The topic was quite technical: the energy transition and the development of sustainable heating solutions for homes, as well as commercial, social, and industrial buildings.
The Queen of the Netherlands met with Remeha executives and employees, toured the production plant, and learned about how they manufacture smarter, more efficient equipment designed to reduce environmental impact. It’s the kind of engagement where Maxima demonstrates that her agenda extends beyond simply opening exhibitions or cutting ribbons.

For the occasion, she chose a suit from Natan, one of her favorite brands when she needs to look impeccable without overdoing it. She paired it with boots (perfect for touring a factory without sacrificing style) and a Mango clutch with a synthetic shearling texture, adding a more relaxed touch to the ensemble.

No high heels or impractical purses. Maxima knows how to adapt her wardrobe to the situation, and in this case, she needed to move comfortably among machinery and production processes.

The accessories were discreet, yet reflected her signature style. She wore her Olympia Babylonia Infinity earrings in carnelian, adding a touch of color without overwhelming the look, and her Dinh Van Le Cube Diamant bracelet in yellow gold. These are pieces we’ve seen before, and they serve as a kind of personal signature.
Máxima doesn’t need to wear new jewelry every time she goes out, and that also speaks to her style: she knows what looks good on her and isn’t afraid to wear it again.
