As the honorary president of More Music in the Classroom, an initiative aimed at promoting music education, the queen continues to champion the importance of music in young lives.
Her visit coincided with preparations for the annual Christmas Music Gala 2024, where the Emmaus School will join eleven other primary schools to form the largest school band in the Netherlands.
During her visit, Queen Maxima sat in on a lively music lesson with students from group 7c. The class, filled with energy and creativity, demonstrated the transformative impact of music education.
