Queen Maxima recently visited Utrecht to sign a four-year partnership between the Princess Maxima Center for Pediatric Oncology and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The agreement aims to strengthen the practical knowledge and skills of pediatric radiotherapy teams in Eastern Europe and Eurasia, enabling safer and more effective treatment for children with cancer worldwide.
For the occasion, Maxima chose a look that made a visual impact.

The outfit was completely white. A Viseur dress by Natan, layered with a cashmere and wool cape, also from Natan Couture. The cape adds a touch of controlled drama that Maxima masters so well, while the dress maintains a clean, uncluttered silhouette.
The use of white at these events is no coincidence, as Maxima aims to convey hope, clarity, and seriousness without becoming somber. It’s a color that works well when you want to convey an optimistic message without trivializing the subject.

The shoes were Gianvito Rossi’s Gianvito 105 in bisque suede, a soft nude tone that lengthens the silhouette without competing with the dominant white. They’re those classic pumps that never let you down, and she owns them in multiple colors because they simply work.

The only accessory was Jeanne’s Medallion brooch, crafted from what appears to be gold with some ornamental detailing. Maxima is a fan of brooches and knows how to strategically place them to add a touch of interest without overwhelming the look.
