While details are being finalized for her upcoming state trip to Cyprus, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands has resumed her official schedule with a high-profile visit to Rotterdam.
On this occasion, the monarch visited one of the four research centers dedicated to studying the post-COVID aftermath, an initiative underway since November and key to understanding the long-term effects of the pandemic.
Queen Maxima’s Style in Rotterdam
With her signature style, Maxima caught all eyes as she arrived at the center in a sleek black and white ensemble.
She opted for a loose-fitting black top, paired with white pleated pants for a refined yet modern look.
To combat the cold, she resorted to one of her favorite pieces: a black cape that she had already worn on previous occasions.
However, what caught the most attention were the accessories she chose to complete her outfit.
On top of her top, she wore a chandelier brooch, made of rhinestones, which matched her earrings and a ring of black sockets by designer Maria Calderara.
She also carried a black Natan handbag, reaffirming her preference for this fashion house.
