Queen Maxima demonstrated why she is considered one of Europe’s most stylish royals. This time, she did so in Eindhoven, where she inaugurated the 25th edition of Dutch Design Week, an event celebrating creativity and innovation under the theme “Past. Present. Possible.”

As it does every year, the event brings together thousands of designers and visitors, transforming the city into a grand showcase of ideas. Maxima, true to her role as an ambassador for Dutch talent, didn’t want to miss this special edition.

Before the opening ceremony, the Queen toured the exhibition “Bridging Minds – 100x Design for Change” at the Van Abbemuseum, a showcase of how design can drive social and environmental change.

Her visit was discreet yet full of interest, marked by her characteristic enthusiasm for engaging with creators and listening to their projects.

There’s no doubt that Maxima enjoys these kinds of encounters where design and social awareness converge.

For her look, she chose an elegant and modern ensemble by Claes Iversen, one of her trusted designers.

She wore a neutral-toned Scootaloo Coat, classic Gianvito Rossi heels in praline suede, and Van Cleef & Arpels Rose de Noël earrings featuring coral petals. A balanced ensemble, without excess, yet with the perfect sophistication that sets it apart.

These kinds of choices confirm something I always say: Maxima doesn’t just dress well, she interprets fashion.
