Queen Rania of Jordan, known for her elegance and strong commitment to humanitarian causes, recently attended the summit of world leaders and NGOs on children’s rights, an initiative organized by Pope Francis at the Vatican.
The monarch, who has used her international visibility to advocate for political and social issues, was one of the guests of honor at this event, where the pontiff called for action to protect children in vulnerable situations.
In his opening remarks, Pope Francis expressed his gratitude to the attendees and stressed the importance of joining efforts to defend children whose rights are ignored every day.
“I thank you for accepting my invitation and I trust that by pooling your experience and expertise, you can open new ways to help and protect the little ones,” said the Holy Pope.
Sitting next to him, Rania of Jordan listened attentively, reaffirming her commitment to this cause.
Queen Rania’s style at the Vatican
For the occasion, the Queen opted for an elegant tea-pink midi dress designed by Oscar de la Renta.
The piece, made of wool, stood out for its delicate lace sleeves and side buttonhole pockets, as well as a belt that enhanced her silhouette.
As a complement, she chose a Dolce & Gabbana Sicily bag in beige, made of calfskin, and sophisticated stilettos.
Upon her arrival, Rania of Jordan wore a long white coat that added a touch of distinction to her outfit.
