Monaco’s National Day is always a marked date on the calendar, and this year was no exception.

From the early hours of the morning, the Monegasque royal family gathered to uphold tradition.

Led by Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène, they attended a solemn mass at the cathedral, where the elegant styles of the Grimaldi women captured all the attention.

But the real display of glamour came in the evening, during the gala dinner at the Grimaldi Forum.

The Gala Dresses on Monaco’s National Day

Charlène of Monaco: The Elegance of Minimalism

Princess Charlène reaffirmed her characteristic style with a navy blue dress of clean lines. Its design, which stood out for its round neck and a peculiar combination of sleeves—one cape-like and the other draped—fitted at the waist before flaring into an A-line skirt down to the floor.

Diamond earrings and a black bag complemented a look as sober as it was sophisticated.

Carolina of Monaco: Sparkles in Navy Blue

Princess Carolina opted for one of the Princess of Wales’ favorite brands, Jenny Packham. Her suit, embroidered with sequins, featured a high neckline, a slight slit at the neckline, and wide sleeves that added movement.

The straight skirt balanced the design, while a woven bag by Bottega Veneta added a modern touch.

Alexandra of Hanover: A Nod to Vintage Fashion

Alexandra of Hanover shone with a design that speaks of her taste for vintage. She chose a maroon dress by Giambattista Valli, rescued from 2017.

This model, with a strapless neckline decorated with 3D flowers and a tiered structure, accentuated her youth and fresh style, reaffirming her status as one of the new promises of the royal fashion world.

Tatiana Santo Domingo: Velvet and Sustainability

Tatiana Santo Domingo stood out with a design from her own brand, Muzungu Sisters. She chose an emerald green velvet dress with unique details: jeweled panels on the shoulders, a round neck, and a tiered skirt formed by ruffles.

Her choice reflected her commitment to ethical and sustainable fashion.

Beatrice Borromeo: A Tribute to Dior

As a Dior ambassador, Beatrice Borromeo wore a spectacular black velvet dress from the maison’s latest resort collection.

The model included an incorporated jewel necklace, cape sleeves, and a skirt with a train. The black accessories and discreet jewelry completed an impeccable ensemble.

Once again, the women of the Grimaldi family demonstrated why they are considered style icons in the royal world.
