    The Duchess of Edinburgh recently embarked on an important visit to Ethiopia, where she had a formal meeting with President Taye Atske-Selassie.

    Their discussions centered around both national and regional matters, with particular emphasis on the impact of global priorities.

    The Duchess highlighted the growing concern that the international focus on Ukraine and the Middle East has resulted in diminished humanitarian aid to other areas in need.

    In the course of the meeting, she also had the honor of delivering a personal message from King Charles, congratulating the President on his recent appointment.
