This Friday, 4 October 2024, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, attended the 5th Rifles Battalion’s homecoming parade following their six-month deployment to Estonia.
As Colonel of the Battalion, the Duchess took center stage at Picton Barracks in Bulford, Wiltshire, presiding over the ceremony with grace and poise.
During the ceremony, Sophie reviewed the Honor Guard and delivered a heartfelt speech to the soldiers and their families, praising their commitment and sacrifice.
The event was a moment of pride and celebration, marking the battalion’s return from months of service overseas.
