The Nobel Prize ceremony was once again the perfect setting for the Swedish royals to dazzle with their elegant attire and impressive collection of historical jewelry.

On this occasion, Queen Silvia, her daughters, Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine, along with her daughter-in-law, Princess Sofia, stole the show with carefully selected outfits.

Princess Sofia: a modern twist on personal tradition

Princess Sofia opted for a klein blue dress designed by Soeren Le Schmidt, a model that plays with volumes and geometric shapes, highlighting its contemporary air.

This design was the same that she wore in a session for Vogue Scandinavia for her 40th birthday. Although the family’s historic jewelry box was not her choice, Sofia again opted for her personal tiara, a wedding gift from her in-laws.

With small interchangeable sapphires, the tiara complemented the dress perfectly, along with a matching brooch and earrings, also adorned with sapphires.

Princess Madeleine: sparkle in shades of green

For her part, Princess Madeleine wore a bright green dress, covered in rhinestones and paillettes, by designer Fadi El Khoury.

Madeleine did turn to the historic jewelry box and chose the iconic Connaught diamond tiara, a piece that was a wedding gift in 1905 and has the ability to transform into a choker.

Its design in the shape of a garland of forget-me-nots, a flower symbolizing love, added a romantic and timeless touch to her look.

    Queen Silvia: classic majesty

As always, Queen Silvia was one of the highlights. She chose an elegant dark dress with a sequined bodice and a voluminous taffeta skirt, which she enhanced with the spectacular Leuchtenberg tiara.

    Princess Victoria: modernity and tradition
