On March 12, 2026, Kate and William had a pretty busy day in London. They started at Borough Market, talking to small business owners, then continued along the Bermondsey Beer Mile, visiting Fabal Beer Hall with local brewers, and finished by boarding an RNLI boat to go to the Westminster lifeboat station, where the 25th anniversary of the station’s lifeboatmen was being celebrated.
Three different settings, very different atmospheres, and Kate wearing a single look that held up perfectly throughout the entire day, without a hitch.
What Kate Middleton was wearing
There was a very clear logic to the outfit. She wore a Prince of Wales check blazer by Catherine Walker, a brand Kate often chooses, which in this case provided a structured look without being overly formal.
Underneath, she wore a sky-blue poplin shirt from WNU, the “The Boyfriend” style, which has a loose fit that works precisely because it doesn’t try to be fitted.
