Kate Middleton officially began her role as Royal Honorary Air Commodore with a very special visit to RAF Coningsby. And yes, although she didn’t fly a real plane, we saw her take the controls of a flight simulator, where she brought smiles to everyone present.

The day also had room for more intimate gestures. During a break, she received toys for George, Charlotte, and Louis, smiling as she assured them they would love them. She also didn’t hesitate to try a local tea, praising it with a simple “it’s a very good tea!”
