Queen Mary brought her signature elegance to the opening of Bharti Kher’s exhibition Mythologies at Copenhagen’s Thorvaldsens Museum on August 22, 2025.
The showcase, the largest the museum has hosted to date, displayed 27 contemporary sculptures exploring the body, identity, and culture, cleverly set against Bertel Thorvaldsen’s classical works.

Queen Mary in a suit by The Fold at the Museum
For the occasion, the Queen opted for a botanical print suit by The Fold, pairing the Knighton jacket and Morella trousers with simple black sandals.
The leafy pattern added a natural, lively rhythm to her look, echoing the themes of transformation and myth present in Kher’s work. Her choice of understated footwear allowed the prints to stand out without distraction.

Jewelry played a key role in rounding out her outfit. Queen Mary layered Dulong Fine Jewelry pieces—earrings and a bracelet—with necklaces by Louise Grønlykke and Julie Sandlau.

The eclectic mix added a playful, yet polished note.
