King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia took advantage of the weekend to pay a family visit to Princess Leonor at the Naval Academy of Marin.
This meeting took place after an emotional reunion between King Emeritus Juan Carlos and his granddaughter Leonor, who shared a special moment at the Naval Academy.
Felipe and Letizia Visit Princess Leonor
This Saturday, September 28, the King and Queen enjoyed a lunch at the Loxe Mareiro restaurant, in the town of Carril, accompanied by their eldest daughter.
For this informal outing, Queen Letizia opted for a casual look. She wore high-waisted, flared jeans and a white blouse from the Swedish firm & Other Stories, which had previously been worn by Princess Leonor in 2022.
The romantic-style blouse has floral embroidery, puffed sleeves and a mao collar. Letizia completed her outfit with round-toe loafers and a braided leather handbag from Mango, as well as a trench coat that she carried in her hand in case the temperatures dropped.
Leonor, meanwhile, wore her white Spanish Navy uniform, despite it being her day off, as she has been actively participating in her military training.
The reason for the kings’ visit to Galicia was to commemorate the 40th anniversary of King Felipe VI’s swearing in of the flag, an event that took place privately on Friday.
After lunch, the kings and princess strolled through the streets of Carril, where they were greeted with greetings and cheers from the neighbors. Even the local shellfish gatherers took the opportunity to give Queen Letizia a leaflet about their activities and invite her to learn more about their work.
