In a recent video update, Kate Middleton has shared a heartfelt message revealing that she has completed her chemotherapy treatments.
The touching video, which was released on Monday, September 9, provides a rare glimpse into the royal family’s life and features Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte.
George Charlotte and Louis in Princess Kate’s video
The three-minute video, captured last month in Norfolk by videographer Will Warr, showcases the close bond between the royal siblings.
In one endearing moment, 11-year-old George looks into the camera and asks, “Is this filming?” while his younger brother Louis and sister Charlotte join him, adding a charming “Hello?” to the mix.
Fans have responded warmly to the video, praising the candid glimpse into the family’s interactions.
One user on X (formerly Twitter) commented, “A beautiful video and refreshing to see a loving family together. Lovely to hear the voices of George, Charlotte, and Louis. And to see William and Catherine hold hands—something we don’t often see.” Another admirer wrote, “Love this clip of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. They are growing up in a happy and loving family.”
The video is one of the closest looks into William and Kate’s family life behind the palace walls. It comes after a period of privacy for their children, particularly during Kate’s illness.
The last major public appearance of the three siblings together was at the Trooping the Colour celebrations in June, marking Kate’s first official engagement since her cancer diagnosis was announced in March.
Princess Kate’s Message
In her video statement, Kate reflected on the challenges of her journey. “As summer ends, I can’t express how relieved I am to have finished my chemotherapy treatment,” she said. “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for our family. Life can change in an instant, and we’ve had to find our way through these challenging times.”
She continued, “This experience has humbled me and given me a new perspective on life. It’s made William and me appreciate the simple things we often take for granted—like loving and being loved.”
Looking ahead, Kate expressed her focus on staying cancer-free and returning to her royal duties. “Though my chemotherapy is finished, the path to full recovery is still long, and I’ll take each day as it comes. I’m excited to return to work and take on more public engagements when I’m able.”
Kate also extended her gratitude to those who have supported her during this time. “William and I are deeply grateful for all the support we’ve received. The kindness and compassion from everyone have been truly touching.”
She concluded with a message of solidarity: “To everyone continuing their own cancer journey, I stand with you, hand in hand. From darkness can come light, so let that light shine brightly.”
