Meghan Markle’s estranged father Thomas Markle has once again publicly appealed to his daughter to allow him to see his grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet.
In a new interview, the 79-year-old expressed his deep desire to meet his grandkids and his hurt over being excluded from their lives.
He maintained that he has done nothing wrong and should not be denied this basic grandparental right.

Speaking to ITV News, Thomas Markle conveyed his heartbreak and frustration over the continued rift with his daughter.
“I’m very upset. This is a cruel thing to do to a grandparent – to deny the right to see a grandchild,” he said.
The elder Markle revealed he could technically take legal action to assert visitation rights under California law but has no wish to pursue that path.
Markle reiterated that spending time with Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, would give her “peace.”
He stressed, he still feels love for Meghan despite their strained relationship.
“I am always here for her, I still love her… I’ll love her forever. That will never change,” Markle stated.
However, he wants his daughter to “reach out” and allow him to meet her children.
The retired lighting director recognizes that family estrangements happen and believes in the possibility of forgiveness.
“People go to prison for five years and they’re forgiven… I didn’t do anything. So forgive me I guess,” he said.
Markle added he would apologize for any wrongdoing on his part but feels his treatment has been undeserved.

Meghan Markle has been estranged from her father since 2018. He admitted staging paparazzi photos before her wedding to Prince Harry that year.
Thomas was not invited to the royal wedding has been going through health problems and has never met his son-in-law or grandchildren in person.
Markle’s latest pleas come after Meghan joined Prince Harry in Germany last week for the Invictus Games.
