Last Wednesday, November 10, the Salute to Freedom Gala was held at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York. Prince Harry and especially Meghan dazzled with their presence, there they chatted with other attendees, but an expert in studying body language could appreciate something that many do not see.
An expert consulted by the British newspaper The Mirror analyzed the behavior of the Dukes of Sussex and what she said was quite revealing. Judi James, an expert in body language, said that, in addition to the dress of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, their movements also revealed a lot.

The British press turned their eye on the details that both Harry and Meghan used for the event. First, Queen Elizabeth’s grandson wore four medals in his suit, palace rules dictate he can wear his medals but is no longer allowed to wear his ceremonial military uniform after he and Meghan left their royal duties early last year. Meghan chose to wear a red Carolina Hererra dress and both wore a garment of poppy, the flower symbol of the commemoration of Remembrance Day.
Analyzing all the details of the couple, James claimed that Meghan and Harry’s body language suggests a conflict.
“Harry and Meghan’s body language here suggests a conflict of interest between the radiant red carpet celebrities and the royals”.
“Their signature hand clasp is in place here, with Harry’s hand on top and pushed slightly back as though keen to protect his wife.
“At the end of their appearance, with her back turned to the cameras, she appears to throw in a classic celebrity red carpet pose when she glances back over her shoulder with a rather knowing smile that includes one raised eyebrow and sideways eyes.
“There’s even a small hunch of the shoulder to suggest a playful moment for the fans and the press.”

“Harry is so focused on his chats that he even appears to tread on his wife’s train and appears unfazed as she throws him a loving smile and a couple of arm touches to warn him where the carpet ends and the dress begins.
“Harry seems to be keen to usher everyone off the red carpet and into the function, going into steering or even sheepdog mode as he splays his arms and his hands out to shepherd everyone inside with what looks like an air of impatience.
“He even uses one hand in a part shrug to show Meghan a more upbeat-looking Meghan that they need to be getting inside.”
