Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have decided not to attend the wedding of Hugh Grosvenor, the Duke of Westminster, who is one of their son Archie’s godfathers.
The wedding will take place at Chester Cathedral next month.

Despite their close connection, Harry and Meghan have chosen to stay away to avoid any tension with other members of the Royal Family.
Prince William, however, is expected to be one of the 400 guests at the wedding.
King Charles and Princess Kate will not attend due to their ongoing cancer treatments.
They have respectfully declined the invitation because of their health issues.
Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan’s absence is believed to be an effort to prevent any awkward family encounters.
A friend told The Sun, “Hugh is one of the few close friends who still talks to both William and Harry. He wishes they could get along, but knows it’s unlikely before the wedding,” reports the Mirror.
Recently, Harry and Meghan visited Nigeria, which was a successful trip for them.
After Harry returned to England for the Invictus Games’ 10th anniversary, he reunited with Meghan at Heathrow Airport before they flew to West Africa together.
Their trip to Nigeria included various events and engagements, and it seems the couple was happy with how it went.
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told The Mirror, “The Sussexes celebrate their sixth wedding anniversary on May 19. After their successful trip to Nigeria, which felt like a royal tour, they might have a positive future if they plan their activities wisely.”
He also mentioned, “Meghan’s new Netflix show on cooking and entertaining, along with her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, and Harry’s polo series for Netflix, show they are staying active. They need more high-profile endorsements, though.”
