Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s professional partnership appears to be on shaky ground, according to a recent report from a royal biographer.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were once inseparable in both their personal and professional lives, haven’t made a joint public appearance in over a month.

Harry and Meghan’s professional relationship is ‘in a very bad state’
Angela Levin, a royal expert, suggests that the pair may be “re-evaluating their next steps.” She also hinted that Harry could be facing potential visa issues in the U.S., which may affect their plans.
“He’s got trouble with his visa,” Levin mentioned during an interview with GB News, adding that authorities might be re-examining his status.
Levin speculated that this situation could be prompting Harry and Meghan to consider other housing options outside the U.S., including a possible property in Portugal.
“If they’re buying a house in Portugal, maybe it’s to avoid lengthy separations,” Levin mused, suggesting their professional relationship may be “in a very bad state.” She added that Harry seems uncertain about his decisions right now.
“They say they’re going to work separately, then they say they’re buying a house in Portugal — you don’t do that if you don’t want to separate for most of the time, so I wonder if it’s in a very bad state. But I’m sure they’re trying to work out something,” she said.
Tina Brown’s harsh criticism of Meghan Markle
Beyond the potential visa trouble, tensions may also be rising from outside scrutiny.
Meghan recently received harsh criticism from journalist and Princess Diana’s biographer, Tina Brown, who remarked that Meghan seems to be “flawless about getting it all wrong.”
Levin, who commented on this critique, said the Duchess of Sussex was “inconsolable” over Brown’s comments, as Meghan had admired her work.
“Tina Brown described Meghan in a very negative way, a way that no one has dared to before,” Levin noted.
Levin added that Meghan, who once appreciated Brown’s perspective, was devastated to learn of her harsh words. “Can you imagine hearing that about yourself? Especially when you think you’re incredibly important and everything you do is global,” Levin said.
Meghan’s secret diary
Meanwhile, rumors have swirled that Meghan might be holding onto a personal memoir, possibly to address her challenges and experiences in the royal family.
Although there’s been no official confirmation from Meghan’s team, some insiders, like royal correspondent Jennie Bond, speculate that Markle might keep the project on standby to share her story more fully in the future.
