Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are now in Nigeria to start what many, especially their fans, have called a royal tour. But it’s not really royal because they’re not representing the Crown.

Instead, they’re representing their foundation, Archewell, and visiting various projects they’re working on.

    Harry & Meghan’s Nigeria Visit

This Friday morning, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their first appearance at a school in Abuja, the capital, to talk about mental health.

Harry went to London last Tuesday for events related to the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games. He went alone, without Meghan, who doesn’t feel very comfortable in Britain.

However, Meghan had to come to Britain because on Thursday afternoon, she reunited with Harry on the island.

She said goodbye to their children, Archie and Lilibet, packed her bags, and took a plane from Los Angeles to Heathrow Airport in London.

There, specifically in the VIP lounge with a very special name, she met Harry to fly together to Nigeria with British Airways.

That VIP lounge is named Windsor, not only in honor of the castle in Berkshire but also in reference to the British royal family, her in-laws, with whom she has a strained relationship.

Harry doesn’t have contact with the Windsors either, as during the almost three days he spent in London, he didn’t meet with any member of the family.

Harry’s intention during this visit to the UK was to reunite with his sick father.

However, as confirmed by a spokesman for the prince, the meeting didn’t happen, due to Her Majesty’s full schedule.

Harry also didn’t meet with his brother and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, who is undergoing preventive cancer treatment.

But the late Lady Di’s siblings showed their support for the Duke of Sussex.

Charles Spencer and Jane Fellowes attended the ceremony held at St. Paul’s Cathedral, the same place where Charles III and Lady Di got married, to mark the decade of the Invictus Games foundation.

Back to the present, Harry and Meghan have already carried out their first event in Nigeria, visiting a school.
