The Prince of Wales has had a kind gesture with Prince Harry. Carlos has acknowledged his son’s work in an article published in Newsweek magazine.
For the British press, Buckingham Palace has made peace with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, since for the first time Prince Charles has spoken about Prince Harry after the controversy generated by the interview of Oprah Winfrey.
The son of Isabel II, in his article, has taken the opportunity to praise the actions of his children, especially Harry and his work in against of climate change.
“As a parent, I am proud that my children have recognized this threat. More recently, my eldest son, William, launched the prestigious Earthshot Award to spur change and help repair our planet over the next ten years.” he noted in the post.
Regarding Harry, he added that:
“he has passionately highlighted the impact of climate change, especially in relation to Africa and has committed his charity to being net zero [in emissions].”
The words addressed to Prince Harry have been highlighted by the British press, as they have assured that Charles and Harry had lost communication after the accusations of racism revealed by Meghan Markle in the interview with Oprah Winfrey.
"The time is now. The eyes of our children and grandchildren are judging us. Let ours be the generation that can. And does."
