The future queen of Sweden and her husband began their visit on Wednesday in the most British way possible: having a pint of beer at The Three Blackbirds, a pub in Newmarket.
Victoria didn’t hesitate to stand behind the bar herself to pour herself a mug of beer straight from the barrel and drink it as a matter of course.
Beyond the typical pub experience, the trip also had serious objectives. Earlier in the day, the couple visited a military training camp where Swedish soldiers are currently training Ukrainian military personnel as part of the UK-led Interflex operation.
In the evening, with a change of attire to match, Victoria and Daniel attended an elegant reception at the Natural History Museum in London.

However, the highlight of the visit was the meeting that the Swedish princes held with Kate Middleton and Prince William at Windsor Castle.
A meeting took place in the midst of the media storm unleashed in Buckingham by the publication of the book “Endgame” and the accusations of racism against Charles III and Kate herself.
Unaffected by the controversy, Kate Middleton chose for the occasion an elegant green midi dress by one of her favorite designers, Emilia Wickstead. She paired it with matching Rebecca pumps by Emmy London.
